
Four Linemen Add to Lions Defence

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club today announced the signing of import defensive linemen Alex Bazzie, Rob Lohr, Chris Olson and Dyrell Porcha.
Bazzie joins the Lions following a four-year, 45-game career at Marshall University. The Silver Spring, Maryland native notched 80 defensive tackles for the Thundering Herd, 17 of which were for a loss to go along with three sacks.
Lohr was a free agent signing of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013 following a notable four-year stint at Vanderbilt where he tallied 69 tackles over 49 games, 38 of which he started for the Commodores. Hailing from Pennsylvania, Lohr terrorized opposing offenses with 26 tackles for a loss and nine sacks.
Olson enters his first season with the Leos following a productive four-year stay at West Texas A&M where he appeared in 47 games, 21 as a starting linebacker notching 27 tackles and two sacks.
Porcha wrapped up a three-year run at Benedict College in 2013 appearing 17 games and recording 32 tackles and a sack.
