
Argos Sign DL Greg Romeus

Toronto - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that it has signed import DL Greg Romeus.
Greg Romeus spent parts of the last three seasons with the New Orleans Saints after being selected by the club in the 7th round (226th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. A five year player at the University of Pittsburgh, Romeus was named the 2009 Co-Big East Defensive Player of the Year and a unanimous Big East First-Team selection. During his full tenure with the Panthers, Romeus amassed 142 tackles, 38.5 tackles for a loss, 19.5 sacks, 13 pass knockdowns, four (4) forced fumbles and one (1) interception in 77 collegiate games.
The Toronto Argonauts also announced today that import DL Ezra Butler has retired.
