AT THE DISH: The Isotopes connected on four home runs on this Mother's Day afternoon ... Greg Bird and Nick Longhi blasted two-run shots while Wynton Bernard and Taylor Motter contributed solo homers ... Bernard also connected on a triple, finishing the game 2-for-3... Bird also had two hits with two runs scored.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Making his first start of the season for the Isotopes, right-hander Ryan Castellani (1-0) earned the win. The 25-year-old allowed two runs on four hits over 5.0 innings, striking out two and walking four ... Zac Rosscup, Joe Harvey and Logan Cozart each recorded a scoreless frame out of the bullpen while Chad Smith yielded two runs in the ninth but also struck out three.

TOPES TIDBITS: The win for the Isotopes snaps a seven-game losing streak, dating back to Aug. 29, 2019 ... The last time the Isotopes hit four home runs in a game was Sept. 9, 2019.
