Tulsa Oilers News Release
Busy Week: The Tulsa Oilers have their busiest week of the young Central Hockey League season with four games this week. They have two games with the Colorado Eagles, Tuesday at the BOK Center at 7:05 p.m. and Friday at Colorado at 8:05 p.m. Central time. The Oilers then play a pair of games against the Wichita Thunder, Saturday in Wichita at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at the BOK Center at 4:05 p.m.
No More: Last week the Oilers made their only visits of the season to Bossier-Shreveport and to Bloomington. They dropped a 6-4 decision at Bossier-Shreveport, and lost 2-1 in overtime at Bloomington. It was the Oilers first overtime game of the season.
4 No More: Saturday's loss at Bloomington marked the first time in the Oilers' four games this season they did not score four goals. It was also the first game the Oilers did not get a two goal game from any player.
2 by 2: In Tuesday's game at Bossier-Shreveport the Oilers had Chad Costello and jack Combs each score two goals.
Nice Start: John Mori played in his first game for the Oilers on Friday and assisted on the lone Oilers goal of the game, scored by Jack Combs.
Dress Up: For Sunday's Halloween contest, the Oilers will be conducting a kid's costume contest.
