Four Games This Week - Playoff Tickets on Sale Tuesday

FOUR GAMES IN FIVE NIGHTS THIS WEEK

After their second longest stretch off of the season, the Spokane Chiefs will play the final eight games of the regular season in a two week span. Spokane has four home and four road games remaining, five against the U.S. Division and a pair versus the Tri-City Americans who they have been battling all season long for the top spot in the conference.

The stretch will begin this week when Spokane hosts the Portland Winter Hawks on Staples Chamber Night Wednesday night, Americans on DirectBuy Buck Night Friday and the Chilliwack Bruins on XO Communication Poster Giveaway Saturday. The week will end with a Sunday trip to Seattle.

The Chiefs enter the week with the second best winning percentage in the WHL with a 44-14-1-5 record and 94 points. Spokane has been off since last Wednesday night's 5-2 win at Kelowna and are four points behind Tri-City for the top spot in the conference.

TICKETS TO FIRST TWO PLAYOFF GAMES GO ON SALE TUESDAY

CHIEFS CLINCH HOME ICE ADVANTAGE IN FIRST ROUND

The Spokane Chiefs have clinched home ice advantage in the first round of the WHL playoffs and will host games one and two on Friday, March 21st and Saturday, March 22nd against an opponent yet to be determined.

Tickets to those games will go on sale at 9:00 am on Tuesday, March 11th at the Spokane Chiefs office at (509) 535-PUCK or at TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT.

Ticket package holders have the first opportunity to purchase their seats in a special playoff package for all home playoff games.

The Chiefs are in a race for the top spot in the Western Conference with eight games remaining. Currently, Spokane has 94 points, four points behind the Tri-City Americans in the U.S. Division and two points behind the Vancouver Giants, who have clinched the B.C. Division.

Spokane will play four games in five nights this week beginning on Wednesday night when they host the Portland Winter Hawks. Tri-City will visit on Friday and Chilliwack on Saturday night before the Chiefs travel to Seattle on Sunday.
