Forward Prospect Cole Wadsworth Signs WHL Agreement

Spokane, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs are proud to announce that prospect Cole Wadsworth has signed a WHL Standard Player Agreement. From Penticton, B.C., Wadsworth was selected by the Chiefs in the fourth round (73rd overall) of the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.

"Cole is a highly skilled forward with tremendous puck skills and offensive sense," Spokane's Assistant General Manager Jim Hammett said. "He pairs that skill with a strong level of competition. We're excited to see what he brings to the ice in Spokane."

The 5-foot-8, 130-pound forward has posted 48 points (20G-28A) in 29 games played with Okanagan Hockey Academy Black U17 Prep this season, adding on eight more (3G-5A) in four playoff games. Wadsworth also played four games with Okanagan Hockey Academy's U18 squad, where he tacked on three points (1G-2A) in four games.

Wadsworth is the fourth prospect from the Chiefs' 2021 class to sign a WHL agreement, joining first-overall pick Berkly Catton and second-round choices Nathan Mayes and Luka Shcherbyna.
