Forward Madison FC goalkeeper Ryan Coulter has claimed the USL League One Fans' Choice Save of the Month for May of the 2019 season for his game-saving stop against Toronto FC II that helped Madison earn a 3-1 victory against the Reds at Breese Stevens Field on May 4.

Coulter recorded four saves overall on the night, but none was bigger than his stoppage-time save that kept the Flamingos ahead by a goal. After Toronto FC II slipped Fito Ovalle in behind the Madison defense, Coulter got off his line quickly to narrow the angle and did just enough to parry the finish before defender Wyatt Omsberg cleaned up any rebound chance.

Coulter's goal earned 35 percent of the poll conducted online at USLLeagueOne.com over the past weekend. FC Tucson's Philip Ejimadu finished second on 30 percent for his standout one-on-one save on Toronto FC II's Jacob Shaffelburg, while Greenville Triumph SC's Dallas Jaye finished third on 16 percent for his fine double-save on a pair of close-range finishes by North Texas SC's Dante Sealy.

FMFC's Jiro Barriga Toyama also claimed a USL honor this week, landing on the USL League One Team of the Week for his performance as a substitute against Orlando.

Forward Madison, which currently leads League One in attendance with over 4,000 fans per game, is back in action this Saturday, hosting FC Tucson at 7 p.m. at Breese Stevens Field. Tickets are available at bit.ly/MADvTUC.
