Hartford Wolf Pack News Release

HARTFORD, November 22, 2014: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned forward Josh Nicholls to the Wolf Pack from its ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Road Warriors.

Nicholls, a second-year pro out of the Western Hockey League, has four goals and five assists for nine points, along with six penalty minutes, in nine games with Greenville this season. That is good for a tie for third on the team in goals, and Nicholls stands fourth among Road Warrior skaters in points.

The 6-2, 196-pound Richmond, B.C. native saw action in six games with the Wolf Pack last year, going scoreless, and had 20-22-42, with 20 PIM, in 63 games with the Road Warriors.

Originally a seventh-round draftee (182nd overall) by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2010, Nicholls was signed as a free agent by the Rangers March 5, 2013.
