Forward Jordan Samuels-Thomas Jumps Onto Ontario Reign Roster

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), signed forward Jordan Samuels-Thomas, Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.

Samuels-Thomas, 25, skated in his first professional campaign last season, dressing in 63 games with the Rochester Americans (AHL) and added eight points (three goals, five assists) and 70 penalty minutes. Prior to turning pro, the West Hartford, Connecticut, native split four seasons of college hockey between Bowling Green State University (2009-11) and Quinnipiac University (2012-14) totaling 104 points (50 goals, 54 assists) in 148 contests. In 2009, Samuels-Thomas was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the seventh round (203 overall) of the NHL Entry Draft.
