MUSKEGON, Michigan (March 15th) - The Muskegon Lumberjacks have announced that Edina (MN) High School standout Forward Connor Hurley has rejoined the team for the remainder of the 2012-13 USHL season.

Hurley, the Eagan, Minnesota native, was the 3rd overall pick by the Lumberjacks in the 2012 USHL Entry Draft and is committed to the University of Notre Dame for the 2014-15 season. Hurley previously played in two games with the Lumberjacks back on October 19th and 20th, respectively, against the Chicago Steel and totaled three assists to go along with a plus-one rating.

"Connor (Hurley) provides a great deal of skill and energy, and we are excited to see how he will be able to help us down the stretch in the pursuit for a Clark Cup Championship."

Hurley recently finished his junior season at Edina High School where he helped his team capture the Class 2A Minnesota State High School Hockey Championship, the school's 11th state title. This season, Hurley totaled 52 points (20 goals and 32 assists) in 31 games played. Before high school, Hurley played for the Shattuck St. Mary's (MN) Tier I Bantam Team totaling 59 points (20 goals and 29 assists) in 58 games played.

Connor Hurley is the younger brother of current Lumberjacks Forward, Cullen Hurley, and is a projected early-round pick in this June's 51st NHL Entry Draft in Newark, New Jersey.
