Forward Cam Reid Returns to Reading

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League and Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Cam Reid has been returned to the Royals from the Adirondack Flames of the AHL. The addition of Reid completes the permissible twenty-three player ECHL playoff roster for Reading.

Reid, a third year pro from Tsawwassen, Delta, British Columbia, was loaned to Adirondack on March 20 and remained there through the completion of the Flames' season, playing twelve games during which he recorded two assists and four penalty minutes. Reid was the leading scorer for the Royals with fifty-nine points (25g-34a) in fifty-nine games at the time of his loan to Adirondack. Reid, who was named Reading's Most Valuable Player at the regular season-ending Fan's Choice Awards, has played eighty-two career AHL games (6g-2026pts) with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Lake Erie Monsters, Milwaukee Admirals, Peoria Rivermen and the Flames.
