
Forward Blaise Nkufo Added to Active Roster

RENTON, WASH. -Seattle Sounders FC forward and designated player Blaise Nkufo has been added to the club's active roster, making him eligible for selection in tonight's match against D.C. United.
Nkufo, 35, represented Switzerland during the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. He played the past seven seasons for FC Twente in Enschede, Holland. Twente won the Dutch Eredivisie in May and Nkufo scored a club record 114 goals in league play.
The Sounders FC plays at D.C. United on Thursday, July 15. Kickoff is 5 p.m. PT.
