
Fort Worth's Austin Mayer Named Oakley CHL Player of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (March 18, 2013) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Fort Worth Brahmas forward Austin Mayer has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending March 17, 2013.

Mayer had points in all three games during the week for the Brahmas (went 2-0-1). The rookie totaled three goals and three assists and had his best game in Friday's 5-2 win over Allen when he scored two goals with an assist and a +3 plus/minus rating.
On the season, Mayer has 13 goals and 27 assists, good for eighth among rookies in scoring, and his +13 is tied for third among all first year players.
