Fort Worth 2B Kip Harkrider scored the go ahead run in the ninth inning off a throwing error by 2B Josh Fulton to help the Cats past the Diablos. The Cats would take a 1-0 in the first inning off a RBI double by CF Carlos Adolfo. Fort Worth went ahead 2-0 in the sixth off a RBI double by SS Marc Mirizzi, who went 3-4 on the night. The Diablos in the seventh inning pulled ahead 3-2 off a RBI single by Fulton, who was 1-4 on the night with a RBI, and then was followed up by a two run triple by LF Jorge Alvarez. That lead did not hold up for long as the Cats would get the tying run in the eighth and the go ahead run in the ninth to get the victory. Zane Carlson pitched 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to get the win with Steve Wilkerson picking up his first save of the season.
