Henry Ellenson hit a three pointer on the other end the next time down to tie the game at 12. The two teams would trade the lead for the rest of the quarter with Cassius Stanley's deep two with 3:50 left giving Fort Wayne the lead back again; the Mad Ants extended it to a then quarter high six points with 2:42 to play in the quarter on a Daxter Miles Jr. three ball from the corner.

Raptors 905 scored the first six points of the second quarter to pull back ahead on a Gary Payton II breakaway windmill dunk to make it 34-33. Stanley answered on the other end with a three to put Fort Wayne back on top. Fort Wayne would push their lead to seven on multiple occasions in the second, including at the 3:42 mark on another Miles Jr. triple. A Jalen Lecque fast break reverse layup with 3:06 in the third gave Fort Wayne a nine-point lead. Back-to-back Jalen Harris threes under two minutes to play got Raptors 905 back within three, 65-62.

Fort Wayne took a 111-110 lead with 16 seconds to play as Lecque drove to the rim for a finish.

A foul against Devin Robinson with 13.4 seconds left gave Ellenson the chance to complete a three-point play, which he did. With 6.7 seconds left, Josh Gray drove and tied the game at 113 to force overtime.

Mooney drove baseline for a basket to open the overtime session and Brissett answered back with a dunk on the other end.
