Wichita, Kan. - Former Wichita Stealth offensive/defensive lineman Bryan Henderson was named the AFL's ADT Defensive Player of the Week for his performance versus the San Jose Sabercats. Henderson played for the Stealth during the 2002 season and is in his second AFL season with Arizona.

Henderson helped lead the Rattlers to a 50-43 victory that guaranteed them the #1 seed and home field advantage throughout the 2004 AFL Playoffs. Henderson is also a strong candidate for the AFL's Lineman of the Year Award. On Sunday, he recorded three tackles, one sack, and blocked a last second field goal attempt and recovered it for a touchdown to give the Rattlers the victory.

This is the first time that a former Stealth player has earned an AFL weekly award. Henderson and the Rattlers will begin their drive to ArenaBowl XVIII this Sunday when they face the Los Angeles Avengers in Phoenix. The Avengers enter the game with a record of 9-7 and the Rattlers are 11-5.
