
Former Skyforce Head Coach Dave Joerger to Coach Memphis Grizzlies Tomorrow Night

Memphis, Tennessee - Memphis Grizzlies Head Coach Lionel Hollins and Assistant Coach Johnny Davis will miss tomorrow night's game against the Phoenix Suns to attend a private family service in Portland for former teammate Maurice Lucas, who passed away on Sunday, Oct. 31.
As members of the 1976-77 Portland Trail Blazers, Lucas, Hollins and Davis helped lead Portland to the franchise's first and only NBA Championship.
Grizzlies Assistant Coach David Joerger will assume head coaching duties in tomorrow night's matchup at Phoenix, which will tip off at 9 p.m. CT at US Airways Center. Hollins and Davis are expected to rejoin the team prior to the Grizzlies game at the Sacramento Kings on Nov. 6.
