Tucker (5-11, 185, South Florida '03, DOB: Nov. 10, 1979 in Bartow, Fla.) was signed by the New Orleans Saints last season and spent 12 weeks on the NFL team's practice roster.
He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2003 and attended their training camp prior to being waived.
Tucker was a college standout at South Florida. He started 20 games in two seasons after transferring from Indiana. As a senior, he had 44 tackles (34 solo), two interceptions and 13 passes broken-up.
"We're very happy to acquire a defensive back of his ability," Blue Bombers G.M. Brendan Taman said.
