
Former Otter Signs With Dodgers

Sean Thompson, one of Evansville's starting pitchers early last year, has signed a contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Thompson, 27, was 0-1 in three appearances for the Otters in 2009. The fifth round pick of the San Diego Padres in 2002, Thompson has also pitched in the Kansas City and Colorado organizations.
The lefthander from LaJunta, Colo., becomes the fourth Otter from last season to join an affiliated organization, following pitcher Ben Paxton (Houston), outfielder Cameron Satterwhite (Cincinnati), and outfielder Breland Brown (San Francisco).
