
Former IFL Offensive POY, RB Monroe Re-Signs with Rattlers

PHOENIX - The six-time world champion Arizona Rattlers have re-signed running back Darrell Monroe for the 2021 Indoor Football League season.
Darrell Monroe (6'2", 225, Arizona Western College) will enter his third season with the Rattlers after being named the IFL's Offensive Player of the Year in 2018. Despite playing only 10 games that year, Monroe led the league with 38 rushing touchdowns, while ranking second with 733 rush yards. The Caruthersville, MO native also led the league in yard per carry (5.3) and scoring per game (17.8 points), averaging six points more than the next highest player.
Prior to joining the Rattlers, Monroe attended Arizona Western, where he earned the ACCAC Offensive Player of the Year in both seasons he played for the Matadors. Overall, he ran for 1,673 yards and 18 touchdowns.
