Former Waterloo Black Hawk forward Jason Blake has been traded from the Toronto Maple Leafs to the Anaheim Ducks. For more details, please click the following link to the Ducks' press release:

Blake was the Waterloo Black Hawks' leading scorer during each of his two seasons with the club (1992-1993 and 1993-1994). During his second year, Blake was a USHL All-Star and led the league in scoring with 50 goals and 50 assists in 47 games. His efforts resulted in the second-best single-season point total during the Black Hawks' modern junior hockey era. Blake's career numbers in Waterloo place him second in goals for the franchise with 74 and third in both assists (77) and points (151). He is one of four former Hawks currently playing in the NHL.
