
Former Gladiator Lehman recalled to Thrashers

The Atlanta Thrashers announced today that they have recalled former Gwinnett Gladiator Scott Lehman from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
Lehman appeared in all 72 games with the Gladiators during the 2006-07 season where he notched 2 goals and 12 assists for 14 points. He also appeared in all four Kelly Cup Playoff games with the Gladiators during the 2007 playoffs.
The Windsor, Ontario native skated in 6 games with the Gladiators last season where he recorded 2 assists and 18 penalty minutes. Lehman recorded 2 goals and 5 assists while with the Wolves in 40 AHL games last season.
This year in 21 games in the AHL with Chicago, Lehman has scored 2 goals and added 2 assists for 4 points. He has also posted a +1 while with the Wolves.
Lehman was selected by Atlanta Thrashers in the 3rd round with the 76th overall pick in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
The Thrashers host the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at Phillips Arena at 7 p.m.
Gwinnett returns to action next on Friday, December 19th when they take on the Charlotte Checkers on the road. The team returns home to Gwinnett Sunday, December 21st, when they take on Elmira in a rematch at 4:05 p.m..

The third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League, the ECHL averaged 4,174 per game last season, marking the fourth year in row and the 16th time in the last 18 years that the league has averaged over 4,000 fans. The league has drawn over four million fans each of the last five years and 11 times in the past 12 seasons.
