Former Bolt Returns To Rockford

Rockford, IL-Pending league approval, the Lightning are proud to announce the return of Muntrelle Dobbins to Rockford.

The 6'8", 235 lb. forward played with Rockford last season, joining the Lightning in February 2004. In 11 games with the Bolts, Dobbins averaged 13.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. His previous CBA experience includes another stint with the Lightning in the 1997-98 season, and playing time with Dakota and Sioux Falls.

"Being united with Muntrelle is very good for the Lightning team and Lightning fans. He understands our system, he rebounds very well, and he's a good, solid teammate," says Lightning head coach Chris Daleo. Muntrelle joins Guy Rucker on the Lightning roster, as they play the Great Lakes Storm in Tuesday night's exhibition game in Birch Run, MI.

The Lightning open the 2004-2005 season on the road as they take on the Gary Steelheads on Saturday, November 20th. You can join the Bolts on the road on the "Bus Trip to Gary", complete with a stop at the Majestic Star Casino before the game. The cost is $40, and it includes a ticket to that night's game, lunch on the bus, and a $5 chip to the Majestic Star Casino.
