Cleveland Force News Release
The Force announced that the team has partnered up with Cleveland/Akron Television Network (CAT) to televise eight games on a tape delay basis. CAT will broadcast the Force games to over 1.3 million households throughout Northeast Ohio. Force fans can catch the games on the following cable providers: Wide Open West in Cuyahoga County (Channel 99), Time Warner Cable in Summit and Portage Counties (Channel 14), Adelphia Cable in Summit and Portage Counties (Channel 29), Wadsworth Cable in Medina County (Channel 21), Armstrong Cable in Wayne County (Channel 29), Doylestown Cable in Wayne County (Channel 8), Massillon Cable in Stark County (Channel 21) and Clear Picture Cable in Wayne (Channel 21).
FAMILIAR FACES RETURN:
The Force will get their first look at two familiar faces this Sunday when the Kansas City Comets make their first trip to Cleveland. Forward Anthony Maher, the Force Rookie of the Year last season, and defender Casey Barton will play their former team. Maher is currently fourth on the Comets in scoringf with 15 poinst while Barton is fifth on the team in blocks with 16.
ZARZOUR NISSAN DECEMBER PLAYER OF THE MONTH:
Midfielder Justin Evans was presented the Zarzour Nissan December Player of the Month award at halftime of the Saturday, January 3rd game. Evans recorded two goals and added one assist for a total of three points during the month.
POST-GAME HEADQUARTERS:
The Cleveland Hilton Garden Inn and Harvey's Bar is the official post game party headquarters of the Cleveland Force. After every home game, Force players will be in attendance to talk with fans as well as sign autographs. The Hilton Garden Inn is located at 1100 Carnegie Avenue between the Convocation Center at CSU and Jacobs Field. The Force players will arrive 30-45 minutes after the conclusion of the game.
FORCE RADIO NETWORK:
Cleveland Force fans will be able to follow the club all season long on the Force Radio Network. All thirty-six regular season games, as well as all playoff games will be aired. The flagship station for Force soccer is WHK 1220 AM in Cleveland and WHKW 1440 AM in Warren. Thesportsking.com will be streaming all the games live on the Internet at www.thesportsking.com.
