Force Sign WR Kevin McKenzie

FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Georgia Force have announced that they have signed five-year AFL veteran WR/LB Kevin McKenzie.

McKenzie, 5-11, 193 pounds, joins the Force after spending the 2006 season with the San Jose SaberCats. Last year, McKenzie played in four regular season games and recorded 12 receptions for 141 yards and two touchdowns. He played in the SaberCats playoff game against the Chicago Rush and posted five catches for 74 yards with two touchdowns through the air and added one rush for two yards with one touchdown. In five seasons, he has tallied 237 grabs for 2,735 yards (10.0 avg.) and 46 touchdowns. Defensively, McKenzie has collared 92 tackles, 10 passes defensed, 11 interceptions, three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble for his career. McKenzie brings with him playoff experience and an ArenaBowl Championship. He has played in seven career postseason games and has registered 36 receptions for 527 yards with 11 touchdowns. McKenzie will reunite with Force WR Chris Jackson, who were teammates at Washington State and led the Cougars to the Rose Bowl in 1997.
