Cleveland Force News Release

CLEVELAND, OHIO- Even in today's uncertain times, there are those individuals who continue to show love and care for others. They volunteer their time to help in their community, and give financial or emotional support to others, as well as countless hours to those less fortunate. To those special individuals who care and have generously contributed to others, the Cleveland Force would like to say thank you. The 14th annual Big Buddy Day hosted by the Cleveland Force provides thousands of disadvantaged or disabled youth and adults, with an opportunity to attend a special Force game at the Convocation Center at CSU through the caring support of others, and is dedicated to those thoughtful individuals who help to strengthen the Cleveland community. The game will be hosted this Sunday, February 23rd, at the Convocation Center as the Cleveland takes on indoor soccer legend, Tatu and the Dallas Sidekicks at 3:05 p.m.

"The Force is proud of the Big Buddy program which was established fourteen years ago," Force President/General Manager Paul Garofolo stated. "We look forward to continuing the tradition of giving back to Northeast Ohio in this manner. It does our hearts good, to see the stands filled with smiling faces of children and adults who may otherwise not have the opportunity to witness a professional soccer game.

Big Buddy Day would not happen without the generous support of our corporate partners and individuals who care. Requests for more than 7,500 tickets were made by local organizations.

University Hospitals Of Cleveland, Metropolitan Business Machines, Bertram Inn & Conference Center, Northcoast Stars, Zarzour Nissan, Associated Estates Realty Corporation, Baker & Hostetler, Hausser +Taylor, Provident Bank, Dr. Steven Marsh , Dlf Electric, Inc., Bentoff + Duber Co., Glass Equipment Development, Cleveland Force Booster Club "Enforcers", Top Dawg Delivery, Deb Barnes, Pam Hartland, Linda Butterfield, Jan Snowberger, Matt Beischlag, Lauren Kawentel, Joan Ibbett, Linda Ibbett, Management Assistance, Bill Sprole, Rod Winkler, Mike Zambrzicky, Mike Mestelske, Bev Kibler, Karen Waldron and Robert Bohning.
