
Force Forward Earns Weekly MISL Honor

CLEVELAND, OHIO- Cleveland Force goalkeeper Zoran Karic has been named the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Offensive Player of the Week for the seven-day period ending January 18.
The most prolific playmaker in indoor soccer history returned to his old form on Saturday night, with one goal and six assists in Cleveland's 9-7 win over the Kansas City Comets. With six assists, Karic came within two of tying the League record, which he set with eight helpers on February 4, 1995, against the Canton Invaders. He recorded the 2,100th point of his indoor soccer career in the process. The 42-year-old is now tied for the team lead in scoring with 19 points, and has scored three goals and 11 points in his last two games.
In addition, Zoran has been named the Tops Sensational Player of the Game on two occasions this season.
Zoran joins defender Josh Timbers and goalkeeper Jim Larkin as the other Force player to earn the MISL Weekly Honor. Timbers was named the Defender of the Week on November 3 and Larkin has earned Goalkeeper of the Week on two occasions. (October 27 and December 8).
