
F&M Bank High School Classic Begins Today

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (April 12, 2012) -- The second annual F&M Bank High School Classic baseball tournament returns to CMC-NorthEast Stadium, home of the Kannapolis Intimidators, beginning this morning. The three-day tournament will showcase regional talent as eight schools from Cabarrus and Rowan counties batting for the F&M Bank High School Classic Cup and county bragging rights. Tickets are only $5 for adults and $4 for students and seniors. Fans interested in attending all three days may purchase a tournament pass for $12 ($10 for students and seniors).
The tournament will feature East Rowan, West Rowan, South Rowan and Carson high schools out of Rowan County and NW Cabarrus, A.L. Brown, Mt. Pleasant and J.M. Robinson representing Cabarrus County. Play starts at 10 a.m. each day of the tournament with games at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. for three straight days featuring some of the best high school baseball in the area.

Friday, April 13th
10:00am - Mt. Pleasant vs. West Rowan
1:00pm - J.M. Robinson vs. East Rowan
4:00pm - Northwest Cabarrus vs. Carson
7:00pm - A.L. Brown vs. South Rowan
Saturday, April 14th
10:00am - J.M. Robinson vs. South Rowan
1:00pm - Mt. Pleasant vs. Carson
4:00pm - A.L. Brown vs. West Rowan
7:00pm - Northwest Cabarrus vs. East Rowan

The Intimidators return home to CMC-NorthEast Stadium on Thursday, April 19, to begin four-game series with the Lexington Legends.
