Flying Tigers Return Home Friday for Final Series of the Season

Lakeland, FL - The Lakeland Flying Tigers return home Friday, Aug. 29 for the final weekend series of the season against the Clearwater Threshers (Phillies) August 29-31. Tickets for all home games are available by calling the Flying Tigers at (863) 686-8075 or visiting LakelandFlyingTigers.com. Box seats are $6 and reserved seats are $5. Seniors 55 and over, children 14 and under and active military personnel receive a $1.00 discount. Day of game tickets are an additional $1 (excluding Monday's). Monday tickets are $1. Wednesday All-You-Can-Eat tickets are $10 (in advance). Saturday tickets are an additional $1. Parking is FREE.

South McKeel Academy students, teachers and parents will be participating in fun promotions throughout the game as part of their 5th annual Back to School Bash.

Tattoo and balloon artists from Twisted Artz will be in the main concourse.

Bat for the Cure Night "" Prostate Awareness Night

The Flying Tigers will be wearing blue wristbands in support of prostate cancer awareness. There will be information in the concourse and PSA's throughout the game supporting prostate awareness.

Nerves of Steel Night

The Flying Tigers will be raising awareness and funds for "Nerves of Steel," a local charity which raises awareness for Neurofibromatosis (NF).

Cancer Awareness Night Sponsored by the Watson Clinic Foundation

The Flying Tigers will be recognizing cancer survivors throughout the game. There will also be special promotions, PSA's and vendors to help raise awareness. The first 100 fans that enter the ballpark will receive a free carnation.

Kids Club Night Sponsored by Cobb Theatre

4-H Night

The Flying Tigers will be welcoming out area 4-H clubs to the game for a night of fun. There will be a pre-game parade on the field and some cool pre-game demonstrations on the field.

Kids Day

- All kids 14 and under will receive free admission to the game.

- Kids can play catch on the field beginning at 10:00 a.m. (weather permitting).

- Kids can also run the bases just like the Flying Tigers following the game (weather permitting).

- All fans will receive a voucher for a free sundae, compliments of Dairy Queen "" North Lakeland.
