
Florida Panthers Sign C Scott Timmins

Sunrise, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive VP & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to terms with C Scott Timmins on a one-year, two-way contract.
Timmins, 23, has played in 24 National Hockey League games, all with Florida, scoring one goal with 12 PIM. He played in five games with Florida last season, while also appearing in 65 games with San Antonio (AHL) recording 24 points (11-13-24).
The Hamilton, Ontario native was drafted by Florida in the sixth round (165th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
