Phantoms Announce More Home Dates & Promos
July 24, 2013 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Adirondack Phantoms News Release
The Adirondack Phantoms have announced three more guaranteed dates for upcoming home games this season as well as some preliminary promotional plans for those dates. October 12 has already been announced as the team's Opening Night. And now fans can also mark their calendars for November 1, November 30 and January 4. The Phantoms are guaranteed to be at home on each of those dates.
And get ready to be besieged by 2,500 Fitz-Heads! January 4, 2014 will be Fitzy Night and the Phantoms will give away stick-heads of Zack FitzGerald courtesy of Liberty Graphics.
"As our promotional schedule begins to take shape our fans can look forward to the 2013-14 season even more," said Executive Vice President Chris Porreca. "When we received official word that Fitzy was returning to the team this year we immediately went to work thinking of a fun and creative way we could recognize him. I think our fans, as well as Zack, will really get a kick out of seeing an arena with nothing but Fitzy-Heads in the stands!"
October 12 - Opening Night / Magnet Schedule Giveaway

The team also unveiled their plans for special "Community Nights" this season with the announcement of Hudson Falls Night on November 1 and Corinth Night on November 30.
"We are announcing Hudson Falls Night for November 1 and Corinth Night on November 30 and there will be many more to come," said Director of Ticket Sales Kevin Schildt. "We want to dedicate some special nights for all of the great communities of the area who contribute to the success of professional hockey here. Other similar Community Nights are in the planning stages and a couple of them are almost finalized. More than any other team in the AHL, we rely on the support of our surrounding communities because our market is the smallest."
Opponents on the guaranteed dates will not be known until the release of the complete schedule by the American Hockey League sometime in mid-to-late August.
The 25th season of AHL excitement in Glens Falls is coming this October! Opening Night is Saturday, October 12. And the team's first preseason game is Saturday, September 28.
