Florida Panthers Assign Three Players to Rampage

SUNRISE, FL - The Florida Panthers today announced their 57-man training camp roster that includes 35 forwards, 17 defensemen and five goalies. A complete training camp roster is attached. Florida will open the on-ice portion of their 2011 Training Camp presented by Sheets Energy Strips on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 9 a.m. at the Saveology.com Iceplex in Coral Springs.
Upon completion of the team's rookie camp, the club announced the following roster moves: D Derrick LaPoint - released, RW Jacob Doty - released, LW Corey Durocher - returned to Kingston (OHL), C David Pacan - returned to Niagara (OHL), F Logan Shaw - returned to Cape Breton (QMJHL), D Jonathan Racine - returned to Shawinigan (QMJHL), D Mike Montgomery - assigned to San Antonio (AHL), LW Justin Vaive - assigned to San Antonio (AHL), F Joe Devin - assigned to San Antonio (AHL).
