
Florida Continues To Roll At Home With Wins Over South Carolina

Florida Everblades News Release
The Florida Everblades won both games they played this week at home. The'Blades beat South Carolina for the second and third time in a row with an overtime victory and a shootout win on Saturday and Sunday.
Florida finishes off their season-high, eight-game homestand this week with three games against the Gwinnett Gladiators. The Everblades host the Gladiators on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Be sure to get tickets to Friday night's game for Direct Impressions Team Poster night for the first 5,000 fans through the gate. On Saturday, March 6 the Everblades will special Boston Red Sox jerseys which will be auctioned off after the game to benefit the Lee Memorial Health System Foundation Charities.

Saturday, February 27 vs South Carolina Germain Arena 7:30PM
GAME NOTES: The Everblades overcame a 3-0 deficit after 20 minutes to come-from-behind for a 5-4 overtime win. Kevin Baker netted his first hat trick of the season, while Milan Gajic posted a goal and three assists in the victory. Captain Ross Carlson also chipped in three assists for the Everblades. The victory improved the 'Blades record to 2-2-0 at home against the Stingrays and 3-3-1 overall.
Sunday, February 28 vs South Carolina Germain Arena 5:00PM
GAME NOTES: The Everblades continued their winning ways at home with a 3-2 shootout victory. The shooutout was the third straight for the club and 7th overall this season. Florida trailed 2-0 after two periods but came back to force overtime and a shootout. Goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu was the hero stopping 49 shots in regulation and overtime and four of four in the shootout to claim his 12th win of the season.

Thursday, March 4 vs Gwinnett Germain Arena 7:30PM
GAME NOTES: The Florida Everblades and Gwinnett Gladiators will for the fifth, sixth and seventh and final time in Germain Arena this week. The 'Blades have posted a 5-2-2 record against Gwinnett this season and are 3-0-1 at home. Florida and Gwinnett meet a total of 14 times this season.
Friday, March 5 vs Gwinnett Germain Arena 7:30PM
GAME NOTES: The last time the Gladiators and Everblades met was early February in Germain Arena (Feb. 9-10). On Feb. 9, Florida took a 3-2 edge to the third period courtesy of three goals by Brandon Buck, his first natural hat trick as a professional, but couldn't hold the lead. Tim Miller scored with the goaltender pulled in the final minute of regulation to tie the game at 3-3. Captain Adam Berti scored the game winner in overtime at the 3:11 mark to give Gwinnett the two points.
Saturday, March 6 vs Gwinnett Germain Arena 7:30PM
GAME NOTES: In a tight-checking affair on February 10 in Germain Arena the Everblades beat Gwinnett 3-1 with an empty-net goal. Shea Guthrie, Mathieu Roy and Ryan Lang each scored for Florida, while Gwinnett got a Scott Mifsud marker in the contest. Gwinnett went onto beat Florida at home on Valentines Day in Gwinnett 6-3.
