FORT MYERS ,FL (July 19, 2006) - Apparently the only thing that can stop the Fort Myers Miracle offense is Mother Nature as the Miracle and Jupiter Hammerheads were rained out on Wednesday night at Hammond Stadium. The game will be made up as part of a double header on Thursday beginning at 5:05 p.m. Both games are scheduled for seven innings. Game two will follow approximately 30 minutes at the conclusion of game one. Game one will feature Miracle RHP Anthony Swarzak (5-6, 3.82) against Hammerheads LHP Matthew Goyen (2-1, 3.47). In game two the Miracle send LHP Justin Jones (1-3, 5.33) to the hill against Hammerheads RHP Timothy Wood (1-3, 6.08). It is Thursty Thursday, half priced beers, at the ballpark presented by Bud Light, Stevie Tomato's Sports Page and WRXK K-Rock 96.1. It is also a Salute to the Ugly Truck Night. Game two of the double header can be heard live on Sports Radio 770 ESPN.
