Clearwater vs. Daytona Suspended

Clearwater Threshers News Release
Clearwater, FL-The noon game today between the Clearwater Threshers and the Daytona Cubs at Bright House Networks Field has been suspended due to heavy rain.
The game started on time but went into a delay at 12:35 pm. It is in the top of the 3rd inning with the Threshers leading 3-0. The game will be completed tomorrow (July 20) at 5:05 pm as part of a doubleheader. The seven-inning second game will begin after a 20-minute intermission.
There will now be a doubleheader on Friday as well. Game 1 will start at 5:05pm, with Game 2 starting approximately 20 minutes after the completion of Game 1. Both Friday games are scheduled for 7-innings.
The Thirsty Thursday promotion of 2-for-1 beverages will be honored for both games on Thursday.
Friday is St Petersburg Times Family Night and "Football is Returning Night". Any fan wearing their favorite football team's jersey will receive 2-for-1 pricing on regularly priced box seats and 2-for-1 at Frenchy's Tiki Pavilion.
