
Florence Freedom Selects Cincinnati Design Firm For Rebranding

CINCINNATI (November 12, 2007) - Cincinnati-based design firm Traction, specializing in brand design and sports identity development, has been selected to lead the rebranding efforts of the Florence Freedom Baseball Team.
Traction will examine all phases of the team's communication, including logos, mascots, print and digital communication, to guide its efforts. The Freedom chose Traction for the firm's experience with several sports brands, including work with P&G, Riber Sports Marketing, Sowerwine Golf Solutions, Minor League Media and the NBA Developmental League's new team, the Iowa Energy.

The Florence Freedom compete in the East Division of the Frontier League, which includes 12 independent baseball clubs and is headquartered in Troy, Ill. The Freedom has been recognized in the past as Frontier League organization of the year.

The new identity will be unveiled before the start of the 2008 season.

Florence Freedom is a member of the Frontier League, a 12-team Independent Professional Baseball League established in 1993. The Freedom play a 96 game schedule with 51 home games between late May and early September.
