
Fleury to Officially Sign Thursday

Former NHL star Theo Fleury will be taking batting practice with the Calgary Vipers on both Thursday August 7th and Friday August 8th starting at 4:00 PM (MDT). Also after batting practice is complete on Thursday the Vipers will be holding a media conference for Fleury to officially sign his Golden League Contract. On Saturday August 9th at 5:05 PM (MDT) the former Flame will make his professional baseball debut when the Snakes take on the Yuma Scorpions in double-header action.
Calgary continues their series with the Long Beach Armada Wednesday August 6th and Thursday August 7th with both games starting at 7:05 PM (MDT). Dane Renkert (0-1) will start Wednesday and Nate Melek (4-4) takes the ball for Thursday's series conclusion.
Friday August 8th at 7:05 PM (MDT) it is Foam Finger Giveaway night at the ballpark as Calgary takes on the Yuma Scorpions. Also on Friday former Calgary Flame Mike Commodore will throw out the first pitch and sign autographs. Sunday August 10th at 1:35 PM (MDT) the four game series and home stand concludes
