
Fleisher Hits Two Home Runs In 6-1 Win Over Catfish

Columbus, GA - The Intimidators (12-8) received two home runs from Mark Fleisher and Matt Inouye hit one of his own as Kannapolis bests Columbus 6-1 to snap a three-game losing skid.
Fleisher started the Intimidators scoring with a two-run homer (6th) in the first inning. The Radford product added another two-run shot (7th) in the third inning and for good measure a RBI single in the fifth for a 3-fot-5 night with two home runs, two runs scored and five runs driven in.
Inouye hit his home run over the left field sandwiched in between Fleisher?s bombs. For Inouye it was his scond of the year.
Getting the win is starter Johnnie Lowe. The right-hander improves to 3-4 with five innings giving up four hits and one run (zero earned). Lowe was making his first start since May 14th after spending three weeks on the DL with an arm injury and pitching out of the bullpen (six appearances) since returning from the disabled list.
The Intimidators meet up again with the Catfish tomorrow at 7:00pm. Coverage starts at intimidatorsbaseball.com at 6:45pm. The Intimidators are in the midst of an eight-game roadtrip with two more in Columbus before four in Rome.
