
Flash Open 2013 Adopt a Team Program

Elma, N.Y. - The Western New York Flash will open "Adopt a Team" registration on Tuesday, a program now in it's third year that gives local youth soccer teams the opportunity to partner with a Flash player. Registration will begin immediately and will end at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19th.
Registration is open to youth teams ages 14 and under, both boys and girls.
Once registration has completed, the Flash will host a draft after training at Sahlen Sports Park on June 21st. Players will randomly choose which team they will be paired with, with live updates of the draft on the Flash's twitter page. Following the draft, results will also be posted at www.wnyflash.com and will be announced on at the June 23rd home game versus the Seattle Reign. Teams will also receive a personal phone call from their sponsoring WNY Flash player.
All adopted teams will receive the following perks:
- Invited to attend an upcoming home game of their choice, for free
- Invited to watch a gameday practice at Sahlen's Stadium
- Photograph opportunities with sponsoring Flash player
- Two social events, coordinated by your player, throughout the season
- Participate in Adopt-A-Team Fun Day at Sahlen Sport Park (more details to come)
