OREM, Utah- The Utah Flash pushed their win streak to six, and snapped a seven-game Bighorns win streak with a 112-106 win on Friday night. The Flash were led by Brandon Costner who had 31 points and nine rebounds.
Trailing by just two points after the first quarter, Utah outscored Reno (22-13) 35-20 in the second and would head into the break leading by 17 points. The âHorns fought back in the fourth, cutting the Flash lead to just three points with four minutes remaining, but could not complete the comeback.

Danny Green paced the âHorns with 25 points, while Donald Sloan fell just one assist shy of a triple-double, finishing with 17 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. Anthony Richardson added 19 points and eight rebounds for Reno.
Costner was the difference for Utah, scoring 21 of his game-high 31 points in the first half. Kruger chipped in with 19 points while connecting on 4-8 from beyond the arc. Ryan Thompson added 15 points off the bench for Utah.
Reno won the rebounding battle 51-43, but Utah's bench outscored Reno's 33-18 on the evening.
The Flash will host a basketball clinic tomorrow morning for the Boys and Girls Club at Vivint before heading on the road for a rematch with the Bighorns, this time in Reno.
