
Flames Unveil Exhibition Schedule

Moline, IL- The Quad City Flames today announced the team's schedule for the 2008-09 pre-season. The exhibition schedule kicks off on Thursday, October 2nd at 7:05 p.m. vs. the Peoria Rivermen at the Quad City Sports Center. The Flames host the Iowa Chops at the i wireless Center on Saturday, October 4th at 7:05 p.m. before journeying to Des Moines for a game vs. the Chops on Sunday, October 5th. All proceeds from ticket sales for home exhibition games will benefit the Genesis/Quad City Flames Charity Fund.
Tickets for both exhibition games in the Quad Cities are available to season ticket holders by calling the Flames Office at (309) 764-7825. Tickets are just $8.00 for season ticket holders. Tickets go on sale to the general public on September 20th at a cost of $10.00. Tickets for the exhibition opener at the Quad City Sports Center are available exclusively through the Flames Front Office at (309) 764-7825. Tickets to the Flames October 4th showdown with Iowa will be available at the i wireless Center Box Office, via phone at (563) 326-1111 or on-line at ticketmaster.com.
The team wraps up their exhibition schedule on Sunday, October 5th in Des Moines vs. the Iowa Chops. The game will be played at Buccaneer Arena and is scheduled to begin at 5:05 p.m.
The Flames begin training camp on Monday, September 29th at the i wireless Center. The first practice of the season begins at 11:00 a.m. Practice will begin at 10:00 a.m. for the remainder of the camp with all sessions taking place at the i wireless Center.
The Quad City Flames staff and mascot are available for appearances and speaking engagements throughout the summer of 2008. Players will be available for appearances upon their return to the Quad Cities in mid-September.
