
Moose Sign Goaltender Todd Ford

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced today they have signed goaltender Todd Ford to an American Hockey League contract.
Ford, 24, was victorious in his lone appearance with the Toronto Marlies last season, allowing one goal on 14 shots for a goals against average of 1.00 and a save percentage of .933. The Calgary, AB native also played in 41 games with the ECHL's Columbia Inferno where he put together a record of 21-14-5 with a 3.01 goals against average and a .906 save percentage. He also finished with two shutouts.
Ford has appeared in 14 career AHL games - all with Toronto - with a record of 6-5-0 and a goals against average of 3.40 as well as a save percentage of .885. In 135 career games in the ECHL with Columbia and Pensacola, Ford is 66-58-14 with a goals against of 3.00 and a save percentage of .911.
Ford was originally drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the third round, 74th overall, in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
