BRADENTON, Fla. - The Bradenton Marauders used a five-run seventh inning in beating the Fort Myers Miracle, 6-4, on Sunday afternoon at LECOM Park.
The Marauders sent 10 men to the plate in the seventh inning to erase a 3-1 deficit. After consecutive singles from Mitchell Tolman and Brett Pope, Garrett Brown closed the gap to 3-2 with a single to right. Jared Oliva tied the game with a double off the wall in left before Adrian Valerio gave the Marauders their first lead of the game with a two-run single. Bligh Madris capped off the scoring with an RBI double.
Fort Myers plated a run in the eighth on a Caleb Hamilton sacrifice fly to move within 6-4, but it was the closest the Miracle would come.
Miracle starter Brusdar Graterol pitched 6.1 innings in his second career High-A start. The right-hander allowed six hits in collecting a no decision. He walked two and struck out five while occasionally hitting 101 MPH with his fastball.
Hector Lujan (1-3) faced five batters and did not record an out. The right-hander was tagged for three runs on four hits. Adam Bray tossed 1.2 scoreless innings.
In his High-A debut, Bradenton's Gavin Wallace (1-0) earned the win. He surrendered three runs on seven hits in seven innings of work.

Fort Myers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning on a Taylor Grzelakowski two-run double and a Hamilton RBI single. Bradenton plated a run in the third before erupting for five in the seventh.
The Miracle open a four-game series Monday night in Fort Myers against the Palm Beach Cardinals, the Class-A Advanced affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
