TODAY'S GAME: Finale of a three-game series against the Palm Beach Cardinals (StL) from Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium (2-0)...Game three of an eight-game road trip against the Cardinals and Daytona Tortugas (2-0)...Florida is coming off a two-game split against the Charlotte Stone Crabs at Osceola County Stadium...Third of four series (12 games) against the St. Louis Cardinals' affiliate, with six games at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium...The Atlanta Braves' affiliate dropped two of three on the road against the Cardinals from April 13-15...The Fire Frogs are 6-4 at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in 2018.

TODAY'S STARTING PITCHER: 20-year-old Ian Anderson makes his 16th start of 2018 in the finale against the Palm Beach Cardinals on Sunday afternoon...The 6'3" hurler came into the campaign as the Atlanta Braves fifth-ranked prospect in both Baseball America and MLB.com, and is the 42nd- (Baseball America) and 51st- (MLB.com) overall rated prospect in baseball...The native of Rexford, N.Y. earned his second win of the season in a 3-2 victory over the Jupiter Hammerheads at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium on July 2...The right-hander tied a career-high with 11 strikeotus through six innings, while limiting the Miami Marlins' affiliate to just three hits and a walk...The contest was the first time this season the third-overall pick in the 2016 draft touched 100 pitches, with 67 going for strikes...Sunday will be Anderson's third career start against the Cardinals...The right-hander has not allowed a run through 10 innings against the St. Louis Cardinals' affiliate, while scattering four hits, four free passes, and punchign out 11...The product of Shenendehowa High School has allowed only two runs in 17 innings (1.06era) at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in 2018.

DAVIDSON WHIRLS GEM TO TAKE SERIES: Tucker Davidson fired in seven shutout innings against the Palm Beach Cardinals on Saturday night, helping the Florida Fire Frogs come away with a 2-0 victory for the series win at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.

Florida plated runs in the first and second innings, while Davidson and Troy Bacon combined to allow just three hits and four walks on the evening for the team's eighth shutout of the season.

FLEXING SOME MUSCLE: After not homering for his first 52 games, Garrison Schwartz has left the yard in each of the first two games of the series...The product of Grand Canyon University added an insurance run with a solo shot in the ninth to give the outfielder two long balls over his last seven plate appearances...The 22-year-old had not hit a home run through his first 179 at-bats of the season before connecting against Robbie Gordon in the ninth inning of Friday's series opener.

PROGRESS ON THE MOUND: For the second time in his last five starts, Tucker Davidson tossed seven shutout innings against an opponent...The southpaw has seen his ERA drop every month as the season has progressed...The native of Amarillo, Texas had a mark of 9.17 in April, 3.22 in May, 2.55 in June, and has posted a 1.50 through two starts in July.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME: The first four road games of the second half have all come at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, and the Fire Frogs are off to a perfect, 4-0 start in Jupiter...Florida took both games against the Hammerheads from July 2-3...During the team's second season, the Atlanta Braves' High-A affiliate is 6-4 at "The Dean," and has a better win percentage on the road (.475) that at Osceola County Stadium (.390), despite having a better average at home (.238 to .218) and ERA (3.14 to 4.54)...The Fire Frogs are averaging 2.6 runs/game at home in the second half, but are averaging 4.3 runs/game on the road.
