Cedar Rapids, Iowa- Cedar Rapids RoughRiders forwards Robin Bergman, David Boehm, Tyler Thompson and Tommy Wingels and goaltender Kent Patterson will play on two United States Hockey League teams at the first ever USA Hockey Junior Jamboree November 13 and 14 in Blaine, Minnesota.

RoughRiders Coach and General Manager Mark Carlson will coach USHL Team White at the jamboree, which will feature teams from 12 junior leagues. Boehm, Thompson and Patterson will play for Team White, while Bergman and Wingels will skate for USHL Team Black.

The two USHL rosters are composed of 40 National Hockey League draft-eligible players chosen to take part in the two day showcase with the assistance of NHL Central Scouting. The two USHL teams will play a pair of games against each other.

Like the RoughRiders' other four jamboree representatives, Bergman, 18, is in his first season with the team. The Stockholm, Sweden, native has scored two goals and totaled five points in just four games. Bergman joined the Riders this season after playing for Hammarby IF in Sweden last year.

Boehm, a 17-year old product of Naples, Florida, has scored three times and collected eight points in seven games this year. He arrived in Cedar Rapids after playing for the Boston Jr. Bruins of the Eastern Junior (B) Hockey League last season.

Thompson, 17, has played two games for the Riders this year. The Wayzata, Minnesota, native skated for Benilde-St. Margaret High School last season.

Wingels, 18, has scored a pair of goals and recorded eight points in his first seven USHL games. Wingels is the reigning ServiceMaster 380/USHL Offensive Player of the Week. The Wilmette, Illinois, native earned the honor after ringing up two goals and three assists in a pair of games last weekend. The Riders selected Wingels in the second round of the September, 2005 USHL Futures Draft with the fifteenth overall pick.

Patterson, 17, has won his first three USHL starts while posting a 2.67 goals against average and a .908 save percentage. The Plymouth, Minnesota, native tended goal for Blake School last season.

The RoughRiders (4-3-0, 8 points) are in second place in the USHL's East Division, four points behind the division-leading Waterloo Black Hawks. The Riders will visit the Sioux Falls Stampede tomorrow night before returning home to meet the Lincoln Stars Saturday evening at 7:05.
