
Five-Game Exhibition Season on Tap

WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Goldeyes announced today the schedule for the team's 2012 training camp and exhibition games.
The 2012 edition of the Goldeyes will take to Shaw Park to open training camp on May 5 as part of the team's annual open house festivities, which is also the first day that individual game tickets will go on sale.
After a workout day on May 6, Winnipeg will host the St. Paul Saints at Shaw Park for exhibition games on May 7 and 8. The team will then spend the rest of the week in Winnipeg before visiting the Saints at Midway Stadium on May 13 and 14.
The Goldeyes conclude the exhibition docket on May 15 in Kansas City against the T-Bones, who will play the Lincoln Saltdogs at 5 p.m. and the Goldeyes at 8 p.m. at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.
Winnipeg opens the 2012 American Association regular season May 18 in Texas against the Amarillo Sox.
