
First-Place Grizzlies Host Archrival Sacramento To Kick Off June

FRESNO, CA - The first-place Fresno Grizzlies return home to host the archrival Sacramento River Cats for four games starting Saturday, June 5th at 7:05pm at Chukchansi Park. The Grizzlies have already been in first place for 43 days this season, and recorded the best 50-game start in franchise history at 32-18. The second-place River Cats trail the Grizzlies by 9.5 games.
The homestand starts Saturday, June 5th with Disabled American Veterans Day, including a "Grizzlies Greats" Card Set giveaway, presented by Disabled American Veterans, to the first 3,000 fans through the gates. DAV Day at the Ballpark is a national event that reminds Americans of the service and sacrifice of our veterans and helps bring veterans from local VA hospitals and nursing homes out for a day of baseball. The evening will also feature a performance by Minor League Baseball's most beloved dancing grounds crew, the Drag Kings, presented by Tickets.com.
Game two of the series is another Save Mart Sunday, presented by Save Mart Supermarkets. Festivities include a pregame Future Giants Autograph Session and Kids Run the Bases postgame, thanks to Subway. It will be the final 2:05pm start this season, as Sunday games will move to 6:05pm for the remainder of the summer.
Monday, June 7th brings with it the return of Monday Madness, presented by ABC 30. Fans can enjoy a family entertainment package that includes two Field Level Reserve tickets, two hot dogs, two sodas, two Wild Water Adventure Park passes and two Blackbeard's Mini Golf passes. A total package value of over $100, Monday Madness is available to Grizzlies fans for just $32 every Monday home game in 2010.
