Two Fireworks Shows, Two Jersey Auctions Highlight Next Homestand

The Omaha Royals are back in action at Rosenblatt Stadium on Saturday, June 5 to open an eight-game homestand. It will be highlighted by two fireworks shows and two jersey auctions for charity. Plus, national entertainment acts The Bucket Boys and BirdZerk! will be performing at Rosenblatt Stadium. These exciting promotions are on tap:
Saturday, June 5, 7:05 p.m.: The Royals open a four-game series vs. the Oklahoma City RedHawks and Taco Bell presents a special Saturday night fireworks show! Plus, Omaha's players will be wearing retro Golden Spikes jerseys. The jerseys, identical to those worn in the 1999-2001 seasons, will be auctioned off during the game, with all proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands. The night is also presented by Q 98.5, WOWT and The Reader.
Sunday, June 6, 1:35 p.m.: It's U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting and balloon art. Subway Kids Club members get in FREE. After the game all kids are invited to run the bases with Casey, presented by Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. The day is also presented by KGBI 100.7 FM, Fox 42 and Family Spectrum Magazine.
Monday, June 7, 7:05 p.m.: Rotella's Italian Bakery presents $1 hot dog night - Hebrew National hot dogs are just a buck! The night is also presented by 89.7 The River.
Tuesday, June 8, 12:05 p.m.: Play hooky from work and enjoy ½-price Omaha Steaks burgers! Seniors wanting to play bingo prior to the game in Rosenblatt's Hall of Fame Room need to register in advance by calling 738-2182. The day is also presented by 1110 KFAB.
Thursday, June 10, 7:05 p.m.: The Royals open a four-game series vs. the Nashville Sounds. It's Thirsty Thursday, when fans enjoy $1 beers and Cokes, courtesy of 96.1 The Brew, Action 3 News and The City Weekly! It's also Big Lebowski Night, as the Royals pay homage to the classic movie. Fans who come to the ballpark wearing a bathrobe ala "The Dude" will receive a FREE General Admission ticket! Plus, the Royals will have a special offer on White Russians at the bar in Rosenblatt's front plaza.
Friday, June 11, 7:05 p.m.: It's NAIFA Fireworks Night! Plus, the world-famous Bucket Boys will be entertaining fans throughout the game, presented by Infogroup. The night is also presented by KAT 103, KETV and The City Weekly.
Saturday, June 12, 7:05 p.m.: BirdZerk! will perform and sign autographs, presented by Stay in the Game: Get Screened for Colon Cancer. Also, the Royals will wear baby blue jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game with all proceeds benefiting colon cancer care and research. The night is also presented by 101.9, WOWT and The Reader.
Sunday, June 13, 1:35 p.m.: Celebrate Lockheed Martin Military Appreciation Day! The 1st 1,000 fans will receive a canvas art painting of Rosenblatt Stadium, courtesy of Lockheed Martin. Also, the Budweiser Clydesdales will be on display from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. and will be available for photo ops. Plus, the Royals will have a Budweiser special, with $3 Budweiser and Bud Light cans available! It's also U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting and balloon art.
