Midland RockHounds News Release

ROSTER MOVES
The RockHounds acquired Jason Glushon over the weekend to replace Justin Dowdy (disabled list) on the active roster. Glushon pitched in Midland for a short time last season after he was signed as a non-drafted free agent out of Emory University (CA) in June.
The RockHounds also added outfielder Nick Blasi (Blay-zee), who was with the team to start the season, but was immediate called up to Sacramento due to injuries within the Oakland organization. Blasi will take Michael Massaro (sent down to Stockton) spot on the roster and will be in the lineup this week. Blasi was the MVP of Pacific Coast League playoffs a year ago with Sacramento and should add even more speed to the lineup.
