December 11, 2020 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Guelph Storm News Release
During the holiday season Zehrs© Guelph typically collects toys at one of our home games for our annual toy drive in support of the Salvation Army.
Although we weren't able to host an in game event this year, the first ever drive up/drop off toy drive was a resounding success. On December 5th and 6th from noon to 3pm, Storm fans donated over 1,500 lbs of toys, servicing 1,800+ families in the Guelph community this holiday season.
In addition to the toys collected, over $2,000 was donated to the Salvation Army through Zehrs' checkout collections.
We cannot thank you enough for your giving spirit Storm fans, you helped to make Christmas that much brighter for those in need in our community! We'd also like to thank Zehrs for their participation and support in making this first drive up/ drive off toy drive a great success.
Happy Holidays from the Storm.
